Many patients suffer through years of being self-conscious about their ears. This is one of the simplest procedures which you certainly should have if having either lop-ears or big ears problem.

Deformities of auricles can be different: departing ear, lack or deformity of ear cartilage, deformity of ear uvula.  We perform the surgeries in local anesthesia. Each surgery is being performed due to the different author. The ideal time for these surgeries is at the age of six before the child starts going to school.

The procedure lasts 1 hour and it is without visible scars. After the surgery, the patient may go straight home. The patient will wear bandages for seven days after the surgery when we remove the stitches as well.

There is no pain at all after the intervention.

Plastic surgeons mostly suggest that this surgery a patient should do before starting the school, because of other kids teasing and giving various nicknames to the child (Dumbo, Flappy Ears) which can later create low self-esteem.
